Vertical Wind Tunnel

This is a Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source contract using simplified acquisition procedures of FAR part 13 to Skydive Arizona, INC, 4900 N. Taylor St. Eloy, AZ 85131-9759 under the basis of authority of FAR 6.302-1 for the use of a Vertical Wind Tunnel (VWT). Skydive Arizona can satisfy the agency requirement for this type of instrument. This requirement is for a period of five (5) months. A determination has been made by the Government to use other than full and open competition for this acquisition. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the government will consider all vendor capabilities received within 5 days after date of publication of this Notice of Intent. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
