INTRODUCTION. The Department of Navy (DoN) Competitive Sourcing Acquisition Center of Excellence (CSACOE) is conducting market research for the Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNI) as part of a commercial activities streamlined competition and in accordance with OMB Circular A-76 and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. Market research is being conducted to determine potential commercial sources and estimated cost of providing Initial Security and Law Enforcement training to Navy Auxiliary Security Forces (ASF) as described below. Firms are requested to participate by completing the attached survey and forwarding the response to the POC identified below NOT LATER THAN DECEMBER 2, 2005. Participation is voluntary; respondents will not be paid for participation. Please note that costs estimates associated with travel to support installation training are intentionally not requested by this survey. Small business sources will be considered in this research. A contract will not result from this market research, but a separate solicitation for the services described herein may be issued in the future.
