Notice of intent to modify existing Contract DOLJ141A22161 for the Operation of the Dayton Job Corps Center

The U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration intend to exercise an extension of an existing contract DOLJ141A22161 to Management & Training Corporation, 500 North Market Place Drive, Suite 100, Centerville, Utah 84014-1708. The statutory authority permitting the acquisition of this requirement by other than full and open competition is 41 USC 254(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible Source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirement. Job Corps is a national training program that provides comprehensive academic, residential and career technical and training services to approximately 60,000 disadvantaged youth each year at 125 Job Corps centers nationwide. This requirement is for the operation of the Dayton Job Corps Center located in Dayton, Ohio. The anticipated period of performance is on a month-to-month period; not to exceed three months. The requirement includes the provision of academic, career technical, career success skills, and career development training and related support services for an estimated 237 residential students. The contractor shall operate residential quarters (housing) and services to all students as applicable. This is a special notice published for informational purposes only and not a request for proposals. Therefore, no solicitation documents exist for this requirement. However, all responsible parties interested in responding to this notice are invited to submit a capability statement including costs by 12:00PM EST by April 13, 2015, that provides sufficient details for consideration by the Government, via Email transmittal to [email protected] .
