Description: The United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Centers, Ice Breaker Patrol Class, Oakland, CA anticipates awarding sole source procurement to American Maritime Officers Plan . for the following service: AZIPOD V Technical Training and ABB ACS 600 Drive Course ABB INC. is the only vendor in the United States that offers this unique training specific to CGC MACKINAW and their platform. This procurement will be made on behalf of the USCGC MACKINAW. Vendor will provide all the SERVICES listed above. NAICS Code # 611519 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 0800 PST 04 September 2018 will be reviewed by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
