MARKET SURVEY/CAPABILITY ASSESSMENT FOR Gulfstream G500 (GVII type rating) Pilot Qualification Training

PERFORMANCE: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking interested sources that are capable of providing the required training. The responses to this market survey are for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore, any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. At this time, the nature of the competition has not been determined. The FAA may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement for small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, 8(a) certified firms, and all other business types and sizes, capable of providing specified course instruction. The contractor is to provide initial and/or recurrent ground school and flight training to FAA inspectors/pilots in the G500. Student quotas for these courses are assigned by the Workforce Development Division, AFB-500 or Aircraft Certification Service – Planning and Program Division AIR-900. The courses covered under this contract will meet the requirements for FAA formal flight training. FAA formal flight training consists of training courses with agency level course numbers that will be officially recorded in the employee’s personnel records. ~*~THIS IS A MARKET SURVEY ONLY~*~ Abstract In order to make the determination, the FAA requires the following from interested vendors in accordance with the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS): 1. Capability Statement - This document should identify: • Type of training provided by your firm • Size and type of training provided by previous contracts (provide detailed information and past performance) • Number of years in business 2. Geographical areas where your company can provide training. 3. Expected approach - Respondents must provide their strategy for accomplishing this work. 4. Questions or comments regarding the attached draft PWS. All responses to this market survey must be received by 5:00 PM CST, May 3, 2019.
