U006--Veteran Affairs Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS) - Raystation Physics Training for Tomotherapy Unit

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, VHA Regional Procurement Office West, Network Contracting Office 22, for the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS), intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Raysearch Laboratories. The statutory authority for restricting competition under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for Single Source, commercial item acquisitions not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT), currently $250,000, is 41 U.S.C. 1903, as implemented by FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Raysearch Laboratories provides software and training for oncology clinics. The Raystation training will cover functionality that is intended to give users a comprehensive introduction to the Raystation. Raysearch Laboratories does not authorize any other contractor to provide this service. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 611430 with a size standard of $12M. Raysearch Laboratories is classified as a small business under that NAICS. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet the specifications above may give written notification to Contract Specialist, Tracey Williams-Douglas at [email protected] no later than 3:00 P.M., (PST) on February 18, 2022. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
