Sole Source - Porta Johns and Hand Wash - USBP Yuma Sector

Notice of Intent to award as a sole source to ROCKWELL AMERICAN SERVICES INC, for the requirement of the provision of a minimum of 35 and a maximum of 50 each, porta-johns and hand wash stations for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, Yuma Sector, to be distributed across the Sector from the main Yuma Border Patrol Station to local area ports and checkpoints, with regular services between 2 and 3 times daily, 7 days a week for all units. The porta-johns and hand wash station services are for the immediate and urgent humanitarian need of the USBP Yuma Sector, until a long-term competitive solicitation action can be completed. That solicitation is expected to be published within the next month. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency for market research purposes of the new upcoming solicitation. A determination by the Government not to compete this current contract is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Any vendors who believe they can provide the items and can provide proof of ability to meet the requirements should email their company's capabilities information to the attention of Frank S.
