"RECOVERY" Conduct and updated Phase I and a Phase II Environmental Site Assessment and prepare reports

RECOVERY: THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER THE EXISTING CONTRACT EP-S7-09-01. SEAGULL ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGIES, INC., SHAWNEE MISSION, KS. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The Environmental Protection Agency has a requirement for Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessment at the Alter Trading Corporation Property, located at 551 N Street, Lincoln, NE 68508. IT IS THE INTENT OF THE GOVERNMENT TO AWARD A TASK ORDER UNDER THE EXISTING CONTRACT. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision required to perform Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments at the above mentioned site. The objectives of a Targeted Brownfield Assessment (TBA) is to identify the nature and extent of contamination on-site and the risks posed by the contamination. The purpose of the Phase I ESA is to identify recognized environmental conditions in connection with the property, and the primary objective of conducting the Phase II ESA is to evaluate the recognized environmental conditions identified in the Phase I for the purpose of providing sufficient information regarding the nature and extent of contamination to assist in making informed business decisions about the property; and where applicable, provide the level of knowledge necessary to satisfy the innocent purchaser defense under CERCLA. Period of Performance is task order award through 6/30/2010.
