The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a requirement for the destrution of List 1 Chemical Sida Cordifolia containing ephedrine and pseudoephedrine. There are approximately 950 drums, with a total weight of 24 tons, to be destructed. Destruction shall occur on 6/8/2012. This is anticipated to be a sole source requirement to Covanta Energy Corporation as they are the only local company able to provide the required service. A limited sources justification is approved and is on file. The attached provisions and clauses are applicable to this requirement. All interested sources shall submit a quotation that will be evaluated. Evaluation will be based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable.
