J -- J - A-76 STREAMLINED COST COMPARISON STUDY FOR ELEVATOR MAINTENANCE SERVICES, GSA, PBS, GREAT LAKES REGION - MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN

On April 29, 2004, the General Services Administration, Public Building Service (PBS) publicized its intent to conduct a Streamlined Competition for elevator maintenance services, commercial activity function performed at the Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse, 517 E. Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the Great Lakes Region. The authority and procedures for the competition are found in the May 29, 2003 OMB Circular A-76. The competition was certified by the Competitive Sourcing Official, the Agency Tender Official and the Contracting Officer. This is the announcement of the performance decisions made as a result of the competition. It has been determined that it is more cost effective to have the work performed by private sector contract. This decision affects two (2) full time employees.
