--Sole source contract to NAVIGANT/SATO Travel for official travel management services in Defense Travel Region (DTR) 6, in accordance with FAR Part 6.3. This action is in support of the Defense Travel System Program.

The Information Technology, E-Commerce, and Commercial Contracting Center (ITEC4) intends, subject to approval, to issue a sole source contract to NAVIGANT/SATO Travel for official travel management services in Defense Travel Region (DTR) 6. This eff ort is a continuation of services currently being performed by the contractor. The Government intends to issue a contract for a base period of two months, with three, one-month options. The intent of the contract is to continue services for the minimum p eriod necessary to allow for a competition of the DTR 6 official travel management requirements pursuant to solicitation number W91QUZ-04-R-0014. The estimated value for this acquisition is $1 million for the base period and the option periods. The effect ive date of the contract will be 1 March 2006.
