MICC Fort Belvoir Office intends to issue an extension to an existing contract with The Ravens Group Inc, 4640 Forbes Blvd, Ste 300, Lanham MD 20706-1894 for the period of 1 Oct 2010 31 Mar 2011. Services under this contract include escort attendants to provide direct support to assist soldiers traveling for medical care and families traveling to be at the bedside of the wounded soldiers to and from Casualty and Mortuary Affairs Operations Center (CMAOC), Alexandria VA, Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC), Washington, DC, Bethesda Naval National Medical Center (BNNMC) Bethesda, MD and in and around the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Responsibilities include reception, movement, and integration of arriving and departing soldiers and family member(s) of wounded soldiers. Additional duties include greeting all personnel, assisting in transporting patients throughout the hospital and administrative and logistical task in support of casualty assistance operations.
