Cooperative Enterprises in Medical Research, Consultation, Education, and Services

The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS), pursuant to the authority at 10 U.S.C. 2113(g)(1)(A), intends to award on a non-competitive basis a contract to the Henry M. Jackson Foundation. 10 U.S.C. 2113(g)(1)(A) authorizes the university to enter into personal and non-personal service contracts with the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine as may be necessary to fulfill cooperative enterprises undertaken by such foundation and the University. The contract will be a 5-year Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity contract, which is to be utilized solely by the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. The Government intends to award a minimum of $10,000,000.00 under this contract. The contractor shall provide personnel (on a personal and non-personal services basis as appropriate), services, suppplies, and equipment necessary for the purpose of carrying out cooperative enterprises in medical research, medical consultation and medical education and other services as may be necessary to fulfill the mission of the University. Any pricing arrangements authorized by the Federal Acquisition Regulation are authorized to be used under this contract, however, Cost and Firm-Fixed Price shall constitute the majority of dollars spent.
