R--Synopsis for Hanford Site Technical Support Services Solicitation, Richland WA

This notice is considered to be a synopsis in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2 for the Hanford Site Technical Support Services procurement. Within 15 to 45 days from the date that this notice is published, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) anticipates the issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP), 89304018REM000005, for the Hanford Site Technical Support Services. It is anticipated that a Multi-Award IDIQ will be awarded to up to five offerors. The Hanford Site Technical Support Services contractor(s) will provide services for technical support activities involving engineering services, management consulting services, and hazardous waste collection and treatment at the Hanford Site. Contractor(s) shall provide high-quality, highly qualified, team oriented, cost conscious, innovative professionals, technical and subject matter experts, as needed, for DOE Hanford Site, to provide the personnel, materials, supplies, and services. The new contract(s) resulting from this acquisition will replace current individual 8(a) contracts which cover the same scope, the contracts begin to expire October 31, 2018.
