R -- Technology and Program review of the Aberdeen Area Clinical Engineering Program

The Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service is planning a Sole Source purchase order with ECRI, 5200 Butler Pike, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462. ECRI will provide an on-site review and technical evaluation of the Aberdeen Area Clinical Engineering Program. This review is conducted to satisfy the accreditation requirements fo the Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Health Care Organization (JCAHO) Environment of Care standards. ECRI owns the copyright and patent rights to some of the items and process being utilized by the Aberdeen Area Clinical Engineering Program. Therefore ECRI is the only vendor who can accurately asses the proper usage of those items and processes. The period of performance will be Date of Award through September 30, 2006.
