R -- AMERICAN HOUSING SURVEY SPECIALIST

Under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 6, Subparts 6.301 and 6.302, the U.S. Census Bureau intends to contract to Sandra Lord, 3521 Smoketree Court, Waldorf, MD; and Barbara Williams, 6728 Swarthmoore Dr., Alexandria, VA 22307 on a noncompetitive basis. The contractor's will provide expert advice and assitance required by the Housing and Household Economics Statistics Division for the collection, review, and tabulation of housing data necessary for the production and publication of the American Housing Survey. The contractor's must have analytical experience related specifically to the American Housing Survey. The contractor must be able work independently on the projects assigned. This synopsis is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice, but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the government. If no affirmative written response is received by August 2, 2007, a contract may be issued to Sandra Lord and Barbara Williams without further notice.
