R--Rapidly Deployable Visualization for Simulation and Training of Urban Operations

This posting constitutes the Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center-Fort Eustis (MICCC-E) notice of intent to award on a sole source basis a contract to the University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY. This is for a continuation of non-personal services for the Rapidly Deployable Visualization for Simulation and Training of Urban Operations research. Congress appropriated the funding for this effort in Defense Appropriations Act as for the continuation of this research. The Period of Performance is from the date of award through a 11-month period. The estimated award amount is $1,672,000.00. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirement. This is not a request for quotation or a solicitation for offers.
