R -- OMB Circular A-76 Streamlined Competition for Human Resources Operations

This notice constitutes a formal public announcement of a Federal Transit Administration (FTA) streamlined competition. FTA is conducting a streamlined competition in accordance with OMB Circular A-76, dated May 29, 2003. The following streamlined competition is being conducted: human resources operations for the Office of Human Resources (17 FTE located in Washington, D.C.). These services are currently provided by Government personnel. This is not a request for proposals and in no way obligates the Government to award a contract. Prospective offerors are advised that a solicitation will not be issued if the cost of contract performance is determined to be greater than the cost of in-house performance by Government personnel. No solicitation exists at this time. The solicitation will be made available on the Federal Business Opportunities site if and when it is released. The Competitive Sourcing Official for this study is Robert Jamison. Brenda Wilson is the Agency Tender Official. The Contracting Officer is Sherrill King of OST’s Office of the Senior Procurement Executive. The projected end date is on or before August 13, 2004. .
