The U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters (CG-912) Contracting Office posts upcoming requirements in the Acquisition Planning and Forecast System (APFS) at http://apfs.dhs.gov/. We encourage all businesses interested in doing business with the Coast Guard to regularly review the APFS site. Requirements over $250,000 are posted in APFS early in the contracting process and before solicitations appear on Federal Business Opportunities (FBO). APFS gives businesses an opportunity to know what requirements are upcoming and when, the magnitude and general scope of the project, and designated Program Office points of contact for additional information. For companies interested in doing business with our office, the USCG HQ (CG-912) Office of Contract Operations includes six (6) distinct Contracting Divisions - each responsible for procuring requirements of their assigned USCG HQ Directorates as follows: USCG HQ CG-912 Divisions & Responsibilities Formal Contracts Division I (CG-9121) Customers include: Deputy Commandant for Mission Support (DCMS) (excluding CG-6 and CG-9); CG-1 to include geographically dispersed units such the CG Academy, Health Safety Work Life Service Center; Uniform Distribution Center, CG Recruiting Command, CG Personnel Service Center, and the CG Institute; FORCECOM to include all Training Centers; CG-4 for requirements not covered by the Surface Integrated Logistics Center (SILC); and BASE National Capital Region (NCR) for requirements not covered by the SILC. SFCOs include CG Academy, Uniform Distribution Center, CG Recruiting Command, and Personnel Payroll Center. Research and Development Center Contracts Division (CG-9121-3), New London, CT Customers include: Research and Development Center; International Ice Patrol; and the Marine Safety Lab. Formal Contracts Division II (CG-9122) Customers include: CG-00; CG-09; CG-2 to include the CG Investigative Service, and the Intelligence Coordination Center; DCO to include CG-5, National Maritime Center, National Vessel Documentation Center, and the Maritime Safety Center; and CG-8 to include the Finance Center and National Pollution Funds Center. SFCOs include the Finance Center and the National Pollution Funds Center. Formal Contracts Division III (CG-9123) Customers include: CG-6 (HQ), CG-7 and CG-91, CG-92; CG-932 (except for Major Systems acquisitions and associated requirements to Major Systems acquisitions); and any other CG-9 requirements that are NOT related to a major system acquisition such as CG-9/CG-9D support services. Formal Contracts Division V (CG-9125) Customers include: CG-932 (surface major systems acquisitions and associated requirements to surface major systems acquisitions such as support services). Responsibilities exclude sustainment requirements. Field units include: Asset Project Office (APO) at Baltimore, MD; Project Resident Office (PRO) Pascagoula, MS, for the National Security Cutter; PRO Lockport, LA, for Fast Response Cutter; and PRO Marinette, WS, for Response Boat-Medium. Formal Contracts Division VII (CG-9127) Customers include: CG-931 and CG-933 (air and C4ISR major systems acquisitions and associated requirements to air and C4ISR major systems acquisitions such as support services). Responsibilities exclude sustainment requirements. Field units include: PRO Scottsdale, AZ, and Douglas, AL, for Rescue 21; PRO Newport News, VA for National Automated Identification System (NAIS).
