Industry Day Conference for Enterprise Information Technology Support The U.S. Army is issuing this notification of an Industry Day Conference to be held on Tuesday, 10 November 2009 in the Fort Belvoir Officers Club, Bldg #20, 5500 Schulz Circle, Fort Belvoir, Virginia. The Industry Day is being held to gather and provide information; obtain a sources lists of potential vendors (small and large businesses) with Top Secret (TS) facility clearances; and develop an acquisition strategy for a potential solicitation for Enterprise Information Technology (IT) Support. Enterprise IT Support will consist of telecommunications (telecom) and IT support at locations worldwide, technical and engineering services for various telecom and installation requirements, help desk support, web development, database support, network operations support, software management, firewall administration, information assurance support, lifecycle replacement support and telephone (PBX) support. In order to attend the Industry Day Conference the contractors company must have a Top Secret (TS) facility clearance and Secret level safe guarding capability for storage of the solicitation documents; both will be verified by the contractor submitting their cage code before attendance is granted to the Industry Day. Only Contractors in attendance to the Industry Day Conference will be able to participate in any resulting solicitation since the Government intends on using the sources list produced during the conference. The Government intends on using the policies and procedures in FAR Part 12 for any resulting solicitation that may be developed after the Industry Day Conference, (i.e. Industry Day - information gathering and Sources List). No substitutions for the individuals attending will be granted after 5 November 2009. Contractors are reminded that issuance of this notice does not obligate the Government to pay any travel costs, or to award a contract.
