70--BPA for Denver Latisys RDP Maintenance

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Information and Technology intends to negotiate a single source Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) in accordance with FAR Part 13 with Latisys Denver, LLC. This agreement is to provide the leased Denver Interim Data Center with additional electrical circuits. The agreement under which the VA leases the space stipulates that Lessor provide such services to the VA when required at this facility. The proposed BPA is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a single source under the authority of FAR 13.106. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone inquiries will not be honored; however, interested parties may submit literature detailing how their services meet the VA requirements to the Contracting Officer. Responses received on or before June 22, 2011 will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
