DH10--Intent to Sole Source Dynamic Hospital Biopoint ID Software / Hospital Identification Wristband Systems

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: IAW FAR 5.101 this notice is to advise the public that The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 4, intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed-Price Contract to Four Points Technology, LCLC . Per FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(B) VA requires brand name requirement for an Annual Maintenance Agreement for its fifteen (15) Hospital Identification Wristband systems at the Lebanon VA Medical Center (LVAMC). The system includes the Dynamic Hospital Bio-point ID software that supports fifteen (15) printing devices. A base and 4 option year contract will be performed at Lebanon VA Medical Center, 1700 South Lincoln Avenue, Lebanon, PA., 17042, which includes an acute medical center, emergency room, psychiatric care, and ambulatory care clinics. The Contractor shall provide software application upgrades and annual maintenance for the LVAMC, 24 hours per day/7 days per week, 365 days per year. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS or QUOTATIONS. Responsible sources may identify their interest by submitting capability information that clearly demonstrates the capability to perform the required service and Licensed in Biopoint Software for the Identification Wristband systems. Capability information is required by 12:00 Noon EST, May 30, 2023 to establish the ability of the source to meet this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
