Release of RFP for IT services and support against the GSA Alliant Small Business Governmentwide Acquisition Contract

This Special Notice is to announce that the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Contracts Management Office (CMO), on behalf of the Mission Services Office (MSO) Information Technology Directorate (ITD), issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) through the General Services Administration’s (GSA) E-Buy system for unclassified information technology (IT) services and support. The RFP was issued on August 13, 2014 under the GSA Alliant Small Business Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). The RFP number is HR0011-14-R-0001/RFQ912164. Proposal submissions are due no later than 12:00 p.m. EST, September 30, 2014. For potential subcontracting opportunities, contact current GSA Alliant Small Business contract holders. Brief Overview of Services: The RFP is for office computing, networking, communications services, design and development, and technical support services (IT services and support) at the DARPA Headquarters site in Arlington, Virginia. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the effort is 541513, Computer Facilities Management Services. DARPA anticipates award of a single Cost-Plus-Award-Fee task order on a best value basis. The period of performance is anticipated to be up to 108 months, consisting of one (1) twelve (12) -month base period with eight (8) twelve (12) -month option periods. The anticipated award date is January 2, 2015, and if all options are exercised, the period of performance will be through January 1, 2024.
