Executive Client Services Information Technology (IT) and Communications Support Services

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE - THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT'S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD FOLLOW-ON CONTRACT TO NETCENTRICS CORPORATION TO PROVIDE EXECUTIVE CLIENT SERVICES INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) AND COMMUNICATIONS SUPPORT SERVICES - BOM072320181630. The Department of Defense (DOD), Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate, (WHS/AD) intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." WHS/AD intends to issue follow-on award to continue services performed under the current contract, HQ0034-17-C-0056, to Netcentrics Corporation, 205 Van Buren Street, Suite 420, Herndon, VA 20170. The current contract period of performance expires September 11, 2018. The anticipated period of performance for this follow-on award will be for one (1) month with two (2) one-month period. We anticipate awarding a follow-on award to Netcentrics Corporation to provide Executive Client Services Information Technology (IT) and Communications Support Services to Secretary of Defense Communications Office (SDC) on a 24/7 basis, including federal holidays and during any Government closures. The work is to provide network infrastructure and engineering IT support to the Immediate Office of the Secretary of Defense for a high availability, workstation-based, computer network. Failure to issue a follow-on award would create an unacceptable and significant lapse in support for SDC. Currently, these services are going through a competitive acquisition with an anticipated award in fiscal year 2018. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to be compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determine whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. The Government reserves the right to cancel the Sole Source Award.
