This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 12561520Q0003 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-04. This solicitation will be a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS code is 111150, Corn Farming, with a small business size standard of $0.75 million and the PSC code is 8730. This acquisition is for the following item as identified in the Contract Line Item Number (CLIN): 001) Pioneer corn seed, variety P9880AMXT (AMXT/LL/RR2) or Equivalent, 50 units (80,000 seeds/unit). Scope The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Dairy Forage Research Farm in Prairie du Sac, WI (USDA-ARS) is requesting quotes for Pioneer corn seed, variety P9880AMXT (AMXT/LL/RR2), or equivalent. The quantity requested is 50 units (80,000 seeds/unit). Specification statement of how equipment will be used: Corn production for feed for the research dairy herd. Brand name or equal: Pioneer corn seed, variety P9880AMXT (AMXT/LL/RR2), or equivalent Line item description: Pioneer corn seed, variety P9880AMXT (AMXT/LL/RR2), or equivalent Quantity: 50 units Unit description: 80,000 seeds/unit Delivery no later than week of April 6-13 Delivery is expected to the Prairie du Sac Agricultural Research Station (S8822 Sunset Drive, Prairie du Sac, WI) by April 6th , or as negotiated. The Contractor shall provide all items F.O.B: destination. Location of the Government site is aboard USDA Dairy Forage Research Farm-Prairie du Sac, WI and will be identified in the contract. The Government anticipates award of a Firm Fixed Price contract. Submitting a Quote: To be eligible for an award, all contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) with a current and active registration.
