Some central reporting of FAR requirements is already underway in the Integrated Award Environment and the objective of this pilot is to test if centrally reporting FAR required data in a central location will reduce contractor costs and burden, essentially collect once and use multiple times. The area chosen for the pilot is an area for which contractors currently report data to multiple agencies and multiple contracting officers as frequently as weekly; Davis-Bacon required reports per FAR 22.406. This session will update participants on progress made toward the Section 5 Pilot since the previous session. 1. Overview of Burden Reduction Efforts and DATA ACT Section 5 Procurement Pilot. 2.
