INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FAR 6.302-1(c) Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 7, 1670 Clairmont Rd., Decatur, GA 30033, intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source contact to Engineered Care Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(c): "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed procurement is for Care Transitions Software and Maintenance Support at Atlanta VA Medical Center, Decatur, GA. The contract may be for a period of one year plus the possibility of four one-year options periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541512, (Computer Systems Design Services), and the size standard is $ 30 million. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Please note that Engineered Care, Inc. is the manufacturer of the Care Transitions Portal License Subscription serving Atlanta VA Medical Center. Engineered Care, Inc. direct service branch office is the only channel authorized by Engineered Care Inc. to perform maintenance on the Care Transitions Portal Subscription ) including a VistA-Integrated Care Transition Portal user. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
