This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a period of performance of ONE Base year plus four option years. STATEMENT OF WORK GOVERNMENT REQUIREMENT: The Asteres Scriptcenter systems are located within the VAMHCS, to include Perry Point and Baltimore. This system requires a support contract from the company to keep units functional and for pharmacy to order required supplies. SERVICES: Telephone and Remote Support. Asteres shall provide technical support by telephone and remote diagnostic testing between the hours of 5:00am and 8:00pm Pacific Time Monday through Friday and between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm Pacific Time on Saturdays and Sundays. Asteres will provide Customer the means to report issues during off hours, which will be addressed when customer service arrives. Field Service. Asteres shall provide on-site field service as necessary to keep Scriptcenters and Asteres interface performing substantially in accordance with the material specifications of the applicable training guides and requirements documents. If any Covered System or such interface fails to function substantially in accordance with the material Specifications, tech will contact Asteres and Asteres will work with the VA to perform initial troubleshooting. If the issue cannot be resolved in a timely manner through telephone and remote support, then Asteres shall use commercially reasonable efforts to commence field service by the end of the next business day after a written dispatch request, if the need for field service is determined by 3PM local time. The VA provide Asteres personnel who have been authorized to work at the Customer site with escorted entry and access during normal operating hours to any Covered System at issue in order to effect service and repair. Asteres will either repair or replace the applicable interface or the applicable Covered System as determined. OEM Replacement Parts. Without limiting the foregoing, Asteres will adjust and replace OEM non-consumable parts in the Covered Systems as Asteres deems necessary to keep the Covered Systems functioning in accordance with the Specifications and furnish maintenance and replacement parts (which may be remanufactured or reconditioned OEM parts so long as they are substantially equivalent to new parts in performance) on an exchange basis. Software Updates. From time to time (but no more than four (4) times per calendar year, excluding any emergency patches deemed necessary by Asteres), Asteres may provide updates to the Licensed Software (excluding, for this purpose, any Functionality Additions, as defined below). If Asteres releases such an update, then the Parties shall cooperate to effect its installation as soon as possible, such that Customer maintains the Licensed Software, behind the then-most current release of the Licensed Software. Asteres shall provide technical support for each update of one (1) day of remote support or, if necessary, on-site support at the sole discretion of Asteres. Contract Period This requirement is for ONE BASE, PLUS FOUR OPTION YEARS. The option year shall start 02/01/2024.The Government reserves the right not to exercise option years. a.
