This is a Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source, Firm Fixed Price contract to BAE Information Solutions Inc., for information system feature and elevation data development in support of MCIA.

This is a Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source, Firm Fixed Price contract to BAE Information Solutions Inc., located at 11487 Sunset Hills Road Reston, VA 22101 under the basis of authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements for information system feature and elevation data development in support of the Marine Corps Intelligence Agency (MCIA). The support includes:(1) Development and refinement of Baseline Feature Data at a level of resolution which supports a wide range of geospatial analysis requirements (2) Development of location specific Hybrid High Resolution Terrain Elevation (HRTE) digital surface and bare earth data sets based on emerging client requirements (3) Extraction of Specialized Feature Data (as required). The performance period for this contract is for a period of performance of six (6) months. A determination has been made by the Government to use other than full and open competition for this acquisition. This sole source award to BAE Information Solutions Inc. is being processed solely for the purpose to ensure coninuity of services to avoid interruption of program support. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
