Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source – Alarm and Security Detection System and Access Control System

Forces Surveillance Support Center (FSSC), Chesapeake, VA intends to award a firm-fixed price delivery order to the following vendor: Contractor: ALAMO INTEGRATED SYSTEMS INC. Contractor Address: 2805 SW Loop 410, San Antonio, TX 28227 Cage Code/DUNS: 012U2 GSA Schedule: 47QSWA21D0011 FSSC has a requirement for upgrading the Electronic Security System (ESS) Access Control System (ACS) to our Texas site Main building in Freer, TX and the Main building and Annex in Premont, TX. The system must be integrated with the systems already installed at FSSC other facilities in Virginia and Puerto Rico. Pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) Soliciting from a single source., the contracting officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The anticipated award date is on or around 28 DECEMBER 2022. This notice is being published for informational purposes only and is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Capability statements received within three (3) calendar days of this announcement may be considered by the Government.
