T--ACH, ECH XXL Master CAD, dimension variance study, and straps for screw-less rentention system

The U.S. Army Contracting Center - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) intends to negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1) with Artisent on a proposed modification that adds additional work to the current contract. The contractor shall develop ACH, ECH XXL Master CAD, dimension variance study, and straps for screw-less rentention system. Artisent has a proprietary technique for building helmet CAD geometry to produce complicated organic shapes like the ACH, ECH, and LWH that have little to no seems in their surface boundary construction. Artisent developed this state of the art high resolution three dimensional laser scanning equipment for the specific purpose of scanning both interior and exterior helmet surfaces with accuracy of better than .0002'' in a single pass. This will eliminate the current variation the Army sees among different manufacturers and will ensure a consistent product. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 541430 Graphic Design Services and the size standard is $7 Million.
