The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention National Centers for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases Influenza Division intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Meso Scale Diagnostics LLC (MSD), 1601 Research Boulevard, Rockville MD 20850 for the acquisition of 10 V-plex Panel 34 kits or similar 5-plate kits, setup, development, and testing of custom V-plex kits for ferret and mouse species targets, to a maximum of 37 tests.This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. All quotations/responses received by the deadline specified in this notice, in accordance with FAR 5.203, will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
