76--2D PETROLEUM SEISMIC DATA CHUKCHI SEA

THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT'S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD. IT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. The United States Geological Survey (USGS), Reston Acquisitions Branch, Reston, VA, intends to award a non-competitive, fixed priced Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract under the authority of FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. The USGS Eastern Energy Resources Science Center has a requirement for the licensing of digital, two-dimensional (2D), seismic reflection data from a specific location within the Arctic Alaska Petroleum Province. TGS is the only source of 2D seismic reflection data located offshore from the northwestern coast of Alaska within an area defined by 70.0 to 75.5 degrees north latitude and 156.5 to 169.0 degrees west longitude. Data must have been collected during the past decade (i.e., 2010 or more recent) using an air-gun source and streamer geometry collecting 10 seconds of data in nominal fold of at least 160. Data shall include Kirchhoff pre-stack time migration in sgy format and complete navigation data. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered; HOWEVER, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
