Intent to Sole Source: In accordance with FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No other Supplies or Services will satisfy agency requirement, VA Medical Center Lebanon, PA intends to negotiate a Sole Source Award with Cannon Design Architecture and Engineering. They are located at 2170 Whitehaven Rd, Grand Island, NY 14072-2025. Cannon Design services shall include: Update drawings and specifications that they designed in 2012 as necessary, provide construction period service and Conduct a life safety and code review of design. The drawings are a proprietary design therefore another AE Firm would not be familiar with the rationale of the design; not be able to accurately address Request for Information (RFI s); or accurately review construction submittal which are critical for proper construction of a sound end product. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document is available. Parties may identify their interest; accompanied by supporting literature, to the Contracting Officer no later than August 15 by 4:00 PM.
