The purpose of this Special Notice is to notify interested parties that the RFP for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Internal Controls (OIC) Internal Controls over Reporting (ICR) to obtain Contractor support for financial advisory services to assist OIC in implementation, operation, and compliance with OMB Circular A-123. Specifically, the Contractor will be required to develop an internal control infrastructure methodology; recommend a process to identify VA significant programs; catalogue VA significant programs; perform a deep-dive analysis of three VA significant programs; develop internal control training for VA program managers; create an internal controls tool kit; and provide recommendations on how to address complex internal control issues based on federal government best practices and research Support has been posted to the GSA site under RFQ ID Number RFQ1224967.
