USSTRATCOM Three (3) Leased Vehicles

Contract Number: FA4600-20-P-0003 Notice Type: Special Notice NAICS: 532112 PSC: W023 NOTICE OF INTENT: 55 CONS/PKT, Offutt AFB, NE intends to award an additional 24 month sole source extension to District Fleet LLC under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Presently, three (3) leased vehicles are provided, converted for security and mobile command purposes, and maintained under this contract. The vehicles consist of two (2) Class IV, Extended Large SUVs and one (1) Class II, Small SUV. This extension is required in order to eliminate risk of mission degradation which could possibly cause mission failure. Conducting a follow-on contract at this time presents an inherent risk due to uncertainty and unacceptable delays due to automotive manufacturing production cuts and chip shortages resulting in supply chain issues and limitations in producing new vehicles. This notice is neither a request for a competitive proposal nor a solicitation for offerors. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement is based on responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. This notice should not be construed as a commitment by the Government. If your company can provide the three (3) leased vehicles with a guaranteed delivery date no later than (NLT) 1 April 2023, consisting of one (1) Class IV, Extended Large SUV and one (1) Class II, Small SUV to Offutt AFB, Nebraska and one (1) Class IV, Extended Large SUV to Joint Base Andrews, Maryland , without introducing risk to ongoing mission requirements and to allow outfitting of vehicle modifications NLT 1 July 2023, provide a capability package to the Contracting Officer and a copy to the Contract Specialist by the response date, 4 November 2022, at 1700 CDT.
