The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15 intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract for a base year and four one-year options to TKM Group, LLC, 302 N. Russell St., Marion, Illinois 62959 under authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b) Soliciting from a Single Source. A Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared. This notice is not a solicitation for quotes. The anticipated award date is April 27, 2020. The contractor will provide storage space rental less than 10,000 square feet, providing approximately 8,400 square feet in a single enclosed space approximately 140 w x 60 d x 14 h, for temporary storage for the VA Medical Center in Marion, Illinois within a 5-mile radius of the VAMC campus. The NAICS code is 531130 with a size standard of $30.0 million and PSC is X1GD. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract with Options. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement prior to end of business day (4:30pm Central Time) on April 27, 2020. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent.
