DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS (VA) COMPETITION FOR EXISTING LEASE LOCATION The VA currently occupies 5,345 net usable square feet of space at 4610 East Southcross Blvd., San Antonio, Texas as an outpatient clinic. The lease expires on November 30, 2011. VA is conducting a competition for alternative space and will relocate if advantageous to the Government. The cost of moving, alterations, IT Infrastructure, and other factors will be considered when determining whether to relocate. The space must be on no more than one floor, and provide between 5,000 and 5,500 NUSF of space. On-site parking for 30 vehicles is required. A lease for up to 3 years with the option to terminate after the 18 months will be considered. Occupancy required by December 1, 2011. To be considered, space must be within or bordering a delineated area as follows: SE Military Drive and IH 35N Take IH35N to IH10/HWY 90, Take IH10/HWY 90 to Rigsby Ave, Take Rigsby Ave to IH Loop 410, Take IH Loop 410 to SE Military Drive, Take SE Military Drive to IH 35N Offerors must provide evidence that properties are outside the 100-year flood plain. VA staff will conduct a market survey of properties offered for lease.
