The DEA intends to issue a sole-source award to Chappell, Smith & Associates. The required sole-source documentation is attached. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), vendors that can illustrate it can meet the Government's requirements as stated in the sole source documentation shall include the relative information in a capability statement and submit to the DEA for consideration. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(c) the justification is attached with this notice. The acquisition will be conducted through the FAR Part 13 "Simplified Acquisition Procedures."
