Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price, contract for transportation, prepping and scanning of documents, conversion, storage, maintenance and delivery onto the VA Health System Wide Area Network (WAN) of select patient health information documents in electronic form in support of the VA Central California Health Care System to SourceCorp BPS Inc., 2701 E. Grauwyler Road, Irving, TX 75061. The award will be for a 1-year contract, plus four 1-year option periods. Authority: FAR Part 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Additionally, this acquisition shall follow the procedures under FAR Part 13.5 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures). Period of Performance: October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2022 NAICS: 518210/Size Standard: $32.5M Requirement is for file room outsource, conversion and repository services in support of the VA Central California Health Care System. Contractor must provide for the transportation, conversion, storage, maintenance and delivery onto the VA Health System Wide Area Network (WAN) of a select set of patient health information documents in electronic form. All documents are to be identified through manual indexing or automated indexing which identifies each entry by patient, social security number, date of service and document type. The electronically available documents are to be transmitted via communication lines to the VA WAN. These HIPAA compliant document viewing capabilities must be secure, highly reliable, and available to authenticated VA users via a web browser. The Contractor s commitment to security must be superior with a warehouse in compliance with 36 CFR 1228, subpart K, certified by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirement for the estimated period of performance. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
