NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The Center for Disease Control and Prevention / NIOSH, Atlanta GA intendsto award a sole source order to Zoom Video Communications, Inc.. for Zoom Professional Services to support virtual event meetings of the extramural and intramural research communities to discuss current topics, share best practices, and explore innovative solutions to challenges and opportunities in OSH training and research. Planned events include subject matter expert panels, moderated full group Q&A sessions, concurrent presentations with moderated Q&A, moderated discussion of pressing or ‘hot’ topics identified by audience members, quick take presentations, moderated open mic, and hands-on workshops. An audience of 100-200 virtual attendees representing leadership from the NIOSH Extramural Research and Training Centers, NIOSH Intramural Programs, and the NIOSH Extramural Program Official, as well as other interested NIOSH staff and grantee faculty and students, is anticipated This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR13.106-1(b)(1), “only one source [is] reasonably available. The anticipated awarddate is 30 JUN 2022. Please note that this is not a request for competitiveproposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet therequirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describingtheir ability to provide the product/services listed above. Deadline date for thesubmittals is 29 JUN 2022 at 5:00 pm Eastwen Standard Time. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based onresponses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determiningwhether to conduct a competitive procurement.
