Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source to Ansys Government Initiatives, Inc. (AGI)

This notice is issued in accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(1), DFARS 205.205-71, and DFARS PGI 206.302-1. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce that the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm Fixed Price contract to Ansys Government Initiatives, Inc., Exton, Pennsylvania 19341-2380 Cage 0LCT6 on an other than full and open competition basis. Requirement is for annual license agreements for Ansys Systems Tool Kit (STK) used to develop modeling and simulation (M&S) capabilities in support of existing programs at NIWC Pacific (e.g. Laser Crosslink Experiment, HALONet, ACORN). Specific software include: Short Title: ASTKPre-S-LSE12. Description: Ansys STK Premium (Space) - Advanced orbit trajectory design and maneuver planning for satellite and spacecraft missions. Short Title ASTKPre-S-TECS. Description: Ansys STK Premium (Space) - Advanced orbit trajectory design and maneuver planning for satellite and spacecraft missions Technical Enhancements and Customer Support (TECS). The applicable NAICS Code is 513210 - Software Publishers SB Size Standard $47 Million. Be advised that the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding. This notice is not a request for competitive proposal. However, any responsible source may submit a response which, if timely received, will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement after consideration of all responses to this notice is solely within the Government’s discretion.
