Notification of the SEC's Intent to Award a Sole Source Purchase Order to Money Media, Inc.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a fixed-price purchase order on a sole source basis to Money Media, Inc., 330 Hudson Street, Floor 7, New York, New York, 10013 for access to current and historical news and in-depth analysis of the mutual fund industry, the money management industry, and of mutual fund board compliance and governance issues. The NAICS code is 513110. The contracting officer has determined that Money Media Inc. is the only source that can reasonably meet the SEC’s requirement in accordance with FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii) – Sole Source Acquisitions. The SEC requires access to the following Money Media News Services: Ignites, BoardIQ, and Fundfire. Money Media, Inc. has been the only source identified that can meet the SEC's requirement. The period of performance for the purchase order is anticipated to include a base year and four (4) one (1) year options. The SEC intends to award a purchase order to Money Media, Inc. on or about December 1, 2023. This notice is not a competitive request for proposals. A competitive solicitation will not be issued. However, the government will give consideration to interested parties that identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals by the response date of this notice.
