The Naval Surface Warfare Center - Crane Division is seeking a helicopter lift services for the Lake Glendora Test Facility. Below is a snapshot of information: • Helicopter shall be capable of lifting and dropping a weight of 2500 lbs. at an altitude of 1500 ft. • This Helicopter shall be able to hold a GPS mark to allow for item to stabilize. • Vendor will be required to provide a Pilot and two signalmen/workers to complete each lift. • There will be a total number of 40 lifts in a two-week period. • The helicopter will need to be on station 8-10 hr. daily for the two-week period. • Additionally, no passengers will be required to fly if Helicopter and crew are capable of releasing object into water. Period of Performance: This helicopter is needed August 19-30 2019 and again November 25 - December 6. The requirements will be the same for both dates. In preparing for this potential upcoming requirement the Government request the following information: 1. What certifications are required for the helicopter itself as we as the crew (pilot and ground crew), for an effort like this? 2. How would your firm charge for this type of effort? 3. What would your company need in order to provide a quote to the Government? 4. Would you company be willing to provide future and out year pricing if the requirement were needed in the future? This submission may be in the form of product literature, operating instructions, and/or supplemental technical documentation that define the item(s) and associated hardware. Potential sources should also provide any test results on the item(s) if applicable. Submissions may be sent by any government or non-governmental entity including commercial firms, non-profit organizations, and institutions of higher education with degree-granting programs in science and/or engineering (universities), or by consortia comprising such concerns. Responses from Small and Small Disadvantaged Business firms are highly encouraged.
