This notice is for informational purposes only. The 5th Contracting Squadron will award a purchase order to CC Distributors Inc. for the purpose of a four month (with two possible three month option periods) bridge contract allowing for Minot AFB to continue to receive COCESS services while ACC finalizes their Command-Wide COCESS solicitation template. Air Combat Command (ACC) is in the process of revising policy directives for the solicitation of new COCESS contracts. Existing solicitations have been placed on hold and any new solicitaitons will be required to follow this guidance. A separate and distinct COCESS solicitation will be issued for a new contract after receipt of ACC guidance. The justification for restricting competition is in accordance with the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirement. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be issued for this bridge contract. Within 14 days after contract award a special notice will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) identifying the 5th Contracting Squadron's Justification and Approval of this sole source procurement to CC Distributors Inc.
