The 46th Test Wing, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida is seeking contractors to furnish various types of commercial vehicles for use in testing at Eglin AFB. The vehicles will be tracked and/or used as targets. This notice is for information and planning purposes only; it does not constitute an IFB or RFP, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Firms responding to this notice should state whether they are, or are not, a small business concern, a service-disabled veteran owned small business, or a HUBZone business concern as defined in FAR 52.219-1 for NAICS Code 441120, small business size standard $21M per year. The Air Force reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside based on responses hereto. This requirement may be pursued sole source if the Air Force determines that only one source is capable of satisfying the requirement. The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this notice, nor will it reimburse the contractor for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. Requirement: Various foreign and domestic target vehicles of automobiles, pickups, SUVs, vans; light, medium and heavy trucks of various configurations; makes and models in the years from 1990 to present. Conditions: Various body conditions from pristine to minor damage (dings, dents and missing parts). Various operating conditions are from fully safe to operate (engine, drive train, brakes and lights all operational) to static (vehicle not operational). Mileage: 0 to 200,000 miles or 0 to 124,000 kilometers. INDUSTRY DAY INFORMATION: The 46 Test Wing and the 96th Contracting Squadron will hold an Industry Day Forum for this requirement on 4 December 2007 from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm in Building 350, room 539, Eglin AFB FL 32542.
