The acquisition is for a take home book bag program with four high quality, multilingual and multicultural children’s books; read aloud video for parents, which models fun and appropriate reading behavior in nine languages, and teacher training curriculum. This is the only child driven program that works with children ages 0-5 years. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes, and no solicitation exists. The determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the government. This procurement will be awarded under Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
