Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. The New Jersey Army National Guard intends to negotiate and award on a sole source basis a contract to Valley Foods Incorporated 355 E. Boardman St., Youngstown, Ohio 44503. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.” This notice will be distributed solely through the Contract Opportunities Website (https://beta.sam.gov). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the Contract Opportunities site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Classification System Code is 424410 – General Line Grocery Merchant Wholesalers; the size standard is 500. The New Jersey Army National Guard intends to negotiate a one-time sole source contract with Valley Foods Incorporated to purchase raw subsistence for annual training at Fort Indiantown Gap. Valley Foods Incorporated is the only company authorized for units to draw raw subsistence as per Fort Indiantown Gap Regulation 30-22, Section 1-2 a.). This procurement will be for a single award. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, BIDS or PROPOSALS, and a solicitation will not be issued. Responsible sources may identify their interests and or provide a capability statement as a response to this notice. All respondents shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), have a valid DUNS number, Cage Code, and Tax Identification Number. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement prior to and no later than March 20, 2020 at 09:00a.m. EST.
