Notice of Intent to Sole Source Bambi Bucket valve and pump system upgrades

The Nevada Army National Guard (NVARNG) intends to verbally solicit and subsequently award a firm fixed price purchase order to a single source, Type One Incident Support, Inc., 61568 American Ln Ste 600, Bend, OR. 97702-2842, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) only one responsible source reasonably available. This is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. This requirement is for the upgrade of three (3) government owned Bambi Torrentula Valve to Bambi Max Valve, Model BBX-HL7600, Serial #T4537, T4538 AND T4539 and three (3) Bambi Max Powerfill, BBX-HL7600, 4 Pump System. Responsible sources may submit a capabilities statement, which shall be considered by the agency. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 423850: Firefighting equipment and supplies merchant wholesalers. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurement(s). To be eligible for awards with the Army National Guard, offerors must be registered with the System Award Management System (SAM) www.sam.gov .
