82D CONTRACTING SQUADRON SHEPPARD AFB, TEXAS Notice of Intent to Award as a Sole Source for PM26Q7 Repair Service for Murata Turret This synopsis serves to announce the intent of the 82nd Contracting Squadron to acquire service technician, fee for labor, travel, hotel and per diem to come to Sheppard AFB, TX to repair a Murata Turret Punch Press, Model # M2048 TS, Manufacturer # 13KX268820001, Serial # 1990. It will be purchased as a sole source buy from Murata Machinery USA, Inc. because this is the only authorized company that can repair the the Murata Turret Punch Press, Model # M2048 TS, Manufacturer # 13KX268820001, Serial # 1990 due to the proprietary data rights related to the product. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a request for Quotation (RFQ); it is strictly a Request for Information (RFI) as defined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201e. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS. The RFI is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a RFP or as an obligation on the part of the Government for follow-on acquisition. Responses to this notice are not offers and will not be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly.
